The core problem

Why most law firm marketing reports can’t tell you where cases came from

Most firms we review already pay for marketing, and most of them get a monthly report full of impressions, profile views and keyword rankings. What the report rarely shows is the one number a managing partner cares about: how many signed cases came from each search, listing and ad, and what each one cost.

The gap is almost always technical, not strategic. Call tracking numbers are installed but never connected to analytics. Contact forms send email but never record a conversion. Intake staff log new matters in the case management system, and nobody links that record back to the marketing source. So budget follows whoever tells the most convincing story.

We fix the plumbing first. Before we change a page or spend a dollar on ads, every phone number, form and chat on your site is tracked, and we agree with your intake team on how a signed case gets marked. From then on, the monthly report counts calls, consultations and signed cases by source.

  • Tracked numbers that still show your real number to Google
  • Form and chat submissions recorded as conversions, not just emails
  • A simple intake step that tags each new matter with its source
  • Cost per signed case by channel, reported every month

What we audit

The six patterns we look for in every law firm audit

We don’t have a law firm on our roster yet, so we won’t show you anyone else’s results. What we can show you is the method. When we review a firm from the outside, the same problems come up again and again, and each one quietly costs calls.

None of these require a login to find. The free review we offer checks your Google profile, website, directories and phone setup from the public side, and you get a one-page summary of what we see.

  • Google can’t tell which firm is real: after a move or rebrand, the site, the profile and the directories disagree on name, address or phone
  • Every call is counted, none are connected: call tracking runs, yet analytics records zero leads
  • Reports that measure the wrong thing: views climb while calls fall, and automated ranking scans inflate the totals
  • Hundreds of town pages built from one template, where only the city name changes
  • A phone screen where banners, rating badges and chat bubbles bury the consultation button
  • Quiet risks nobody owns: accessibility errors, review requests landing in spam, email that isn’t fully authenticated

What law firm website design should do on a phone

Someone looking for a lawyer after a crash or an arrest is usually on a phone, often stressed, sometimes in a hurry. Law firm website design has one job in that moment: make it obvious who you are, what you handle and how to reach a person, in the first screen, without a pop-up in the way.

We build every firm site by hand, not from a template. That means a fast first load, a click-to-call button that stays reachable, practice area pages written for the specific question a client is asking, and attorney bios that show real credentials instead of adjectives. It also means accessibility is built in from the start, not patched after a demand letter.

The new website is part of the monthly fee, not a separate build invoice. It goes live within 30 days, your current site stays up until then, and every old page is redirected so the search standing you already earned carries over.

How law firm SEO actually earns calls

Law firm SEO comes down to three things Google can verify: that your firm is a real, consistent entity, that your pages answer the questions people search, and that other credible sites point to you. Tricks that skip any of those tend to work for a few months and then stop.

We start with the entity. One name, one address, one phone number on the website, the Google Business Profile, the bar directories and the legal directories that matter. Then we build practice area pages for personal injury and criminal defense (and family law or estate planning if you handle them) that go deep on real questions: what to do in the first week, how fees work, what the process looks like in your courts.

Then we publish. Every month you get at least 19 new pieces of content across your site, your Google profile and social channels, each one reviewed before it goes out. We also track how often AI search tools mention your firm, because a growing share of people ask a chatbot before they ask Google.

Google profile

Why your Google Business Profile matters more than your homepage

For most local practices, the map results produce more calls than the website itself. A person searches for a car accident lawyer or a DUI attorney near them, sees three firms on a map, and calls one without ever visiting a site.

That makes the profile worth managing like a storefront. We correct categories and service lists, keep hours accurate, add real photos of your office and team, post updates, answer questions and make sure the profile links to the right page. When a firm has moved or changed its name, we clean up the old listings so Google stops splitting your reputation across two businesses.

Reviews matter here too. We send a review request to every satisfied client through a simple, compliant process. We never write reviews, never pay for them, and never filter requests so only happy clients get asked.

Practice areas

Personal injury and criminal defense need different marketing

Personal injury and criminal defense are our focus, and they behave very differently online. Injury clients often research for days, compare firms and read reviews; they respond to clear explanations of fees, timelines and what a consultation involves. Defense clients, or their families, usually need help today, frequently at night or on a weekend, and they call the first firm that looks capable and answers.

So the pages, the ads schedule and the intake expectations differ. Injury pages earn trust with depth and patience. Defense pages lead with availability, the charges you handle and the courts you appear in. Family law and estate planning sit somewhere in between: longer decisions, high sensitivity, and a strong preference for a lawyer who explains things plainly.

  • Personal injury: car, truck and motorcycle crashes, slip and fall, wrongful death
  • Criminal defense: DUI, drug charges, domestic violence, theft, record sealing
  • Family law: divorce, custody, support, modifications
  • Estate planning: wills, trusts, probate, powers of attorney
Paid search

Should a law firm run Google Ads?

Not always, and not first. Legal keywords are among the most expensive in paid search, and ads sent to a site that can’t track calls simply burn money faster. Once tracking is clean and the site converts, ads can fill gaps that organic search takes months to close.

Ads are optional with us. If you choose to run them, management is included in the monthly fee and your ad spend is billed directly to your card by the platform, in an account the firm owns. We report ads the same way we report everything else: calls, consultations, signed cases and cost per case.

Compliance

How we handle attorney advertising rules

Every state regulates lawyer advertising, and the rules differ on testimonials, past results, claims of expertise and required disclaimers. We write every page against your state’s rules, flag anything that needs your judgment, and you approve the core pages before launch. We are a marketing agency, not your ethics counsel, so final calls on compliance stay with the firm.

In practice that means plain, verifiable statements: the practice areas you actually handle, the offices you actually have, credentials you can document. It also means no invented reviews, no implied guarantees and no stock photos dressed up as your own team.

The offer

What one flat monthly fee covers

We keep the offer simple so you can compare it honestly. One flat monthly fee covers brand refresh, the new custom website, hosting and maintenance, Google profile management, directory cleanup, local and technical SEO, at least 19 pieces of content a month, review requests, two social posts a week, ads management if you want ads, and call and form tracking tied to signed cases.

There is a 6-month minimum, then the agreement runs month to month. Every account (domain, website, Google profile, analytics, ad account) is set up in the firm’s name, so if you ever leave, everything stays with you. We share pricing on the call once we understand your practice areas and markets, rather than posting a number that wouldn’t fit most firms.

Getting started

What the first 30 days look like

Week one and two are about stabilizing. We fix the Google profile, make the name, address and number consistent everywhere, and get every call and form tracked before anything else changes. That gives us a clean baseline to measure from.

By day 30 the new site is live with every old URL redirected. From there, the work settles into a monthly rhythm: content, reviews, local search, optional ads, and one report with a strategy call. You have a named lead who answers the same business day. Once we have 60 days of clean tracking, we set call and case targets together and report against them.

Questions

Law Firms marketing, answered.

Book a free strategy call

What does a law firm marketing agency actually do?

A good one gets more qualified people to call your firm and proves which efforts produced signed cases. That usually covers the website, Google Business Profile, SEO, reviews, optional ads and tracking. If an agency can’t connect its work to cases, its reports are measuring activity, not results.

How long does law firm SEO take to work?

Fixes to your Google profile and tracking can show up within weeks, because they remove problems that were already costing calls. New content and practice area pages usually take several months to build steady organic traffic. Anyone promising page one by a date is guessing.

Do you have law firm clients we can talk to?

Not yet, and we won’t pretend otherwise. We’re a small agency that has built and grown sites for spas, schools, retailers and service businesses, and we bring the same tracking-first method to law. The free review shows you exactly what we would fix before you commit to anything.

Is the website really included in the monthly fee?

Yes. The new custom website, the redesign and a logo refresh are part of one flat monthly fee, with no separate build invoice. The site is registered and hosted in the firm’s name, so you own it.

What is the contract length?

A 6-month minimum, then month to month. If you’re under contract with another agency, we plan the start date around that agreement and keep your current site live through the switch.

Do we have to run Google Ads?

No. Ads are optional. If you choose to run them, we manage them at no extra fee and the ad spend is paid directly to Google from an account in the firm’s name.

How do you make sure our marketing follows bar advertising rules?

We write every page against your state’s lawyer advertising rules and flag anything that needs a lawyer’s judgment, such as past results or testimonials. You approve the core pages before they go live. We don’t give legal advice; the firm makes the final call.

Do you work with firms outside Florida?

Yes. We’re based in Central Florida and work with firms nationwide, virtually. Local SEO is built around the counties and courts you serve, wherever they are.

Will you guarantee rankings or a number of cases?

No. No one can honestly guarantee rankings. We set call and case targets with you once there are 60 days of clean tracking data, and we report against those targets every month.
