A church marketing agency that helps first-time guests find you and feel expected

ROEM Digital is a church marketing agency that builds welcoming church websites, runs church SEO and local search, and sets up the plan-your-visit, sermon, events and online course pages that turn a curious search into a Sunday visit. We built the website for Solid Rock Community Church and the event site for its Youth Revival 2026 conference, so we know how ministry teams actually work.

Solid Rock Community Church

A church in Kissimmee, FL with a warm, welcoming site in English and Spanish: plan-your-visit, sermons and live stream, events, ministries, a food pantry and the Growth Track course members take online.

The first visit

Most first-time guests visit your website before they visit your building

Someone new to town, or someone who hasn’t been to church in years, almost always looks you up first. They want to know what time service starts, where to park, what to wear, what happens with their kids and whether they’ll be singled out. If those answers are hard to find, many of them simply stay home.

Church website design should treat that person as the most important visitor. We build the site around their questions, in plain and warm language, so the step from curious to coming feels small.

  • Service times and address visible without scrolling, on any phone
  • A plan-your-visit page that answers parking, kids, dress and length
  • Photos of your real people and building, not stock smiles
  • One clear invitation on every page

Plan your visit

What a plan-your-visit page should do for a nervous guest

A good plan-your-visit page reads like a friend telling you what to expect. It walks a guest from the parking lot to the front door, explains check-in for children, says how long the service runs and shows who will greet them. A short form lets a family tell you they’re coming, so a greeter can watch for them.

We connect that form to your team with an automatic confirmation and a friendly reminder the day before. Afterward, a simple follow-up thanks them for coming and offers a next step, like a newcomer lunch or a small group, without pressure.

Church SEO

How church SEO helps people searching ‘church near me’ find you

Church SEO is mostly local search. People type church near me, a denomination plus a town, or a ministry they need, like a youth group, recovery ministry or food pantry. Your Google Business Profile, your reviews, your service times and a website that clearly says where you are decide whether you appear.

We set up and tune your Google listing, keep hours and service times accurate (including holiday changes), clean up old directory listings, and build pages around your real ministries. We also make sure your site answers the plain questions AI search tools like to quote, such as what to expect on a first Sunday.

  • Google Business Profile with accurate service times and photos
  • Pages for each ministry people actually search for
  • Structured data for your church, events and location
  • Holiday and special service updates posted ahead of time
Sermons and livestream

Making sermons and the livestream easy to find all week

For many people, a sermon is the first time they hear your church. A clean sermon library, organized by series and date, with the video or audio playing right on the page, lets them get to know your pastor before they ever walk in. A clear link to the live stream on Sunday morning keeps members connected when they travel or are sick.

We build sermon pages that load fast on a phone, connect to the video platform you already use, and are easy for a volunteer to update each week. Notes, scripture references and series artwork live alongside each message. When a guest finishes one message, the page suggests the next one in the series and a gentle invitation to visit in person, so a sermon watched on a Tuesday night can become a seat filled on Sunday morning. Clips from each message can also be shared on social media during the week.

Events and ticketing

Events, conferences and ticketing that fill the room

Church events need their own path: a clear page with the date, schedule, speakers, cost, childcare and how to register. For Youth Revival 2026, a three-day Christian youth conference for Solid Rock Community Church, we built a bold, high-energy event site with the full schedule, lineup, FAQs and online ticketing designed to drive sign-ups.

For smaller events, a calendar and simple registration form are often enough. Either way, we make each event shareable, so members can send a link to a friend and the page does the inviting for them.

Giving

Online giving that sends people to your giving platform, cleanly

Online giving should be one tap away and feel trustworthy. We add a clear Give button across the site that links to the giving platform your church already uses. We don’t process donations or touch the money. Your giving provider handles that, and your finance team keeps control.

The giving page itself can explain what giving supports, from missions to the food pantry, in a simple, honest way. Clear, calm wording works better than pressure, and it respects both members and guests. We also make sure the Give link works well on a phone, because most people give from the pew or the couch. If your church receives gifts in other ways, like text giving or recurring gifts through your provider, the page explains each option in a sentence or two and points to the right place. Year-end giving statements and questions about donations stay with your church office and your giving provider.

Discipleship online

Online courses and growth tracks members can take from home

Many churches have a membership class or growth track that only runs a few times a year. Putting it online lets people start when they’re ready. For Solid Rock Community Church, we built the Growth Track course that members take online, alongside the church’s plan-your-visit, sermons, live stream, events, ministries and food pantry pages.

An online course works best when it’s short, clear and connected to real next steps: joining a team, a small group or a serve opportunity. We design the lessons and the path around how your church actually disciples people.

Volunteers

Volunteer signups that reach the ministry leader, not a dead inbox

Most churches never have enough volunteers, and many people who would gladly help never get a reply. A simple serve page lists each team, what it involves and the time commitment, then routes each signup to the right ministry leader with an automatic thank-you.

We track how many people sign up for each team and whether they were contacted, so your staff can see where interest is falling through the cracks.

Social and ads

Social media and Google Ad Grants, if your church or ministry qualifies

Social media keeps your church visible through the week: sermon clips, event reminders, baptism celebrations and stories from your ministries, shared with permission from the people in them. We plan a steady, realistic schedule your team can sustain.

Google Ad Grants offers in-kind search advertising to eligible nonprofits. Google’s guidelines for U.S. organizations require recognition as a 501(c)(3) or a group exemption tied to a 501(c)(3) central organization, and grant accounts must meet ongoing rules such as a minimum click-through rate and conversion tracking. If your church or ministry qualifies, we can help you apply and manage the account. We don’t promise approval, because Google decides.

The second Sunday

Follow-up that turns a first visit into a second one

Getting a guest through the door is half the work. Whether they come back often depends on what happens in the next few days. A warm, personal note from a pastor or greeter, an invitation to one easy next step and a little patience go a long way. A pile of emails and a sign-up sheet for five teams does not.

We build a short, respectful follow-up sequence your team can personalize: a thank-you the day after, a simple invitation a few days later and a check-in before the next special service. Every message comes from a real person on your staff, and guests can opt out any time.

Measuring ministry

What a church should measure online, without turning people into numbers

We don’t measure a church like a store. But a few simple numbers help staff make good decisions: how many people viewed plan-your-visit, how many said they were coming, how many found you on Google Maps, how many watched online, how many signed up to serve and how many started an online course.

Your monthly report is short and plain, and it focuses on next steps people took, not vanity metrics like likes and impressions. Over time it shows which pages, seasons and events actually help people connect.

How we work

A small senior team that respects how churches run

Churches run on small staffs and generous volunteers. We’re a boutique, veteran-owned team, and the people on your first call do the work. We build sites your volunteers can update without fear of breaking anything.

Your church owns everything: the domain, the website, the Google listing, the social accounts and the analytics. Start with a free marketing audit, and we’ll review your website, Google listing, ads and tracking from the outside and tell you what would help guests most.

What does a church marketing agency do?

A church marketing agency helps people find your church and take a first step. That usually includes the website, local search, Google Business Profile, social media and sometimes ads, plus the follow-up that turns a first visit into a second one. ROEM also builds event sites and online courses for churches.

What should a church website include?

At minimum: service times and location up front, a plan-your-visit page, information for kids and families, sermons, events, ministries, a way to give online and a way to contact or connect. It should load fast on a phone and use real photos of your church.

How does church SEO work?

Church SEO is mostly local. A complete Google Business Profile, accurate service times, genuine reviews, consistent directory listings and clear ministry pages help your church show up when people nearby search. Fresh sermon and event pages also give search engines a reason to keep visiting.

Do churches qualify for Google Ad Grants?

Some do. Google requires U.S. organizations to hold 501(c)(3) recognition or a qualifying group exemption, agree to its program terms and follow ongoing account rules. If your church or ministry qualifies, we can help you apply and manage the grant, but Google makes the final decision.

Do you process online donations?

No. We link your website to the giving platform your church already uses, so donations go straight through that provider. We never handle or process the money, and your finance team keeps full control of giving.

Can you put our livestream and sermons on our website?

Yes. We build a sermon library organized by series and date, with video or audio playing on the page, and a clear link to the live stream on Sunday. It connects to the video platform you already use and is simple for a volunteer to update.

Can you build a website for a church conference or youth event?

Yes. We built the site for Youth Revival 2026, a three-day Christian youth conference for Solid Rock Community Church, with a full schedule, lineup, FAQs and online ticketing. Smaller events can use a simple event page with registration.

How do we get more first-time visitors to come back?

Make the first visit easy and the next step clear. Let guests tell you they’re coming, greet them by name, follow up within a day or two and offer one simple next step like a newcomer lunch or small group. A website can support each of those steps.

How much does church website design cost?

It depends on the number of pages and features, such as sermon libraries, event registration or online courses. We don’t publish one price because churches vary widely. A free audit and a short call will get you a clear, written quote.
